Superb Seafood Dip
8 ounces cream cheese -- softened 1/2 cup mayonnaise 3 green onions 2 cloves garlic -- minced 2 tablespoons lemon juice 1/4 cup tomato paste 8 ounces canned shrimp -- drained vegetable dippers or crackers In a bowl, blend together cream cheese, mayonnaise, green onions, garlic, lemon juice and tomato paste. Blend in seafood, mashing with a fork. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Transfer mixture to slow cooker. Cover and cook on low for 2 to 3 hours or on high for 1 to 1½ hours. Set slow cooker to low to keep dip warm until ready to serve with assorted vegetable dippers or crackers. ----------- |
